Plant One On Us:
A Reforestation Initiative
Forests help regulate the climate, filter the air, store water, and provide habitat for countless species. But they’re disappearing at an alarming rate—due to deforestation, wildfires, and unsustainable development. Restoring them is one way to support biodiversity, promote ecological resilience, and contribute to long-term climate adaptation.
Plant One On Us is part of Green Hero’s broader interest in nature-based restoration. The initiative supports verified reforestation efforts that prioritize native species, ecological integrity, and long-term monitoring. It’s not just about planting trees—it’s about restoring balance in ecosystems where forests once thrived.

How the Program Works
Through Plant One On Us, Green Hero aims to support reforestation projects by partnering with organizations that specialize in ecosystem restoration. These projects are often tied to tree-planting campaigns, local community efforts, and science-driven conservation strategies.
We use Veritree’s impact verification platform to track our ongoing contributions and share transparent updates. This allows supporters to see where efforts are concentrated and what kind of impact is being reported—such as the number of trees planted or hectares restored.
While reforestation is a long process, every step counts. From supporting local partners to increasing awareness around ecosystem health, the goal is to contribute meaningfully—however modestly—to a more resilient planet.

Our reforestation dashboard—powered by Veritree—shows current project data, tree counts, and locations where restoration efforts are taking place. The numbers reflect the work of many organizations and individuals coming together for a common purpose.

Looking Ahead
Green Hero approaches this work with curiosity and care. Reforestation isn’t a quick fix—it’s a long-term commitment to learning, supporting, and working alongside communities already engaged in conservation.
This initiative is one part of a bigger picture, and we’re excited to keep exploring ways to grow its impact.
